Rugs for All is the online store for Carpetbinders Ltd and long-established family business, that is committed to supplying quality rugs where the prices reflect both the quality of the rug, the fibre used and the size of the rug.

We are a totally online store, no rugs are stored onsite at 14/37 Washbournes Rd, Wigram and not available for the public for physically viewing only via online purchase.

14/37  Washbournes  Rd is the workroom for the carpet binding division of the company and therefore not a suitable environment to keep the rugs in immaculate condition for online sale.

Rugs For All mainly sells rugs that have a  New Zealand woollen pile in support sustainable farming, the ultimate natural product that has no carbon footprint and support and the rural economies of New Zealand.

Woollen rugs also have, better durability, colour fastness, are easier to clean and age gracefully just to  name a few of the benefits of owning  a woollen rug,

Our Rugs For All online Store covers a range of styles, traditional, contemporary, hand knotted ideally suited to grace the polished wooden or tiled floors of any home. Form large squares too small entrance mats, we even have a selection of hall runners that will enhance any passway.

We have a selection of practical mats for the work area in a home, for the internal entranceway to the kitchen sink.

Rug For All also sells coarse wool for craft and weaving projects in colours that aren't readily available.  

We have been selling rugs for over 40 years and therefore our progression to a solely  online e-commerce  service was natural, however, we have been able to create a boutique offering to is personalised to our clients as you actually deal with a person who has a full interior design background, 4 decades rug knowledge  and won't sell you a product that is not fit for purpose.  We believe a  rug purchase is a personal purchase and part of the home decorating journey.

As a division of Carpetbinder Ltd, we are specialists in carpet edging and binding, turning carpet scraps into practical mats. We offer our customers two  types of edging finishes
1)  the sleek narrow tape binding or 
2)  the more solid woollen overlocking 

We offer a convenient pickup and return delivery service for Christchurch City,  North Canterbury and Mid Canterbury with designated days for the outer regions.

We take work commissions from around the  South Island for carpet binding as we are recognised by our peers (carpet retailers) for being able to handle both complex and delicate work with ease.

We are able to handle large pieces of carpet that need to be hemmed up to  3.66 x 7.2 m  is our largest but does incur and handling fee.
