We also supply and install Insulmax insulation for insulating the walls of existing homes. Insulmax wall insulation is a soft white blown mineral wool product manufactured specifically for thermal and acoustic insulation of wall cavities and is installed without removing wall linings.  Insulmax is manufactured to be installed via small access holes made in the interior or exterior wall lining.  We use the latest infrared camera technology to ensure that all cavities are completely filled and at installed densities, Insulmax will not settle, shrink or slump. For underfloor insulation we can supply and install black polythene on the ground; and Terra Lana wool blend fleece blanket under the floorboards.

BJ Carter Ltd are a building and insulation company started in the 60s, now operated by owner James Carter who joined the family business in 1992. In every job taken on at BJ Carter, large or small, James personally oversees each project from start to finish. If there's a problem, a concern or a question, all clients have a direct line to him to get what they need immediately. We put as much effort and care into building great relationships as we do building structures.

On the building front, we specialise in new homes, including design and build, renovations and alterations, maintenance, as well as light commercial work. At our onsite joinery factory, we can build custom-made woodwork including kitchens, wardrobes and shop fit outs.  What we don't do is "build by numbers"- we work carefully with every client to ensure their unique vision is brought to life, and there's no template for that.  

All of our tradesmen have been carefully handpicked, not just for their building talents, but their attitude, integrity and strong work ethic. As a result, our team has a long tradition of punching well above its weight in terms of awards, with several regional and national accolades for projects ranging from family homes and renovations to commercial developments.
