Specialists in the installation of timber flooring, Swinard Wooden Floors Limited have been working in Christchurch and the broader southern region for over 25 years. We offer a wide variety of wooden floors, to suit anything from small apartments to sprung floors in gymnasiums. We can create a new floor, overlay an old floor, or repair or extend an existing floor.

Experienced in both commercial and residential settings, we work with architects, designers and builders, as well as individual clients. We supply a wide range of solid timber flooring (tongue/groove and parquet) and this can be finished in polyurethane or oil. It can also be individualised by applying stains from pale whitewashes to dark chocolate brown/black or by bleaching the timber. Furthermore we supply an extensive range of quality prefinished engineered flooring, covering a wide selection of timber colours and finishes.

Swinard Wooden Floors are committed to being eco-friendly. We source our timber, wherever possible, from sustainably managed forests, and in so doing, help to maintain the forest landscape for future generations. We take great pride in the quality of both our materials and workmanship.

By booking an appointment with our General Manager and visiting our showroom in Christchurch, you will be able to see 1m x 1m flooring samples of the more popular types of timber and patterns. Flooring installation methods are also able to be viewed. Similarly, we are available to visit you with a large selection of samples and to discuss your individual needs before quoting.
